Q: WILL CAMP GAN ISRAEL HAPPEN THIS SUMMER? 

A: Yes!  Although the building may not open for in person camp as we know it, CGI is planning for an amazing alternate camp experience.

 

Q: WHAT SAFETY PROTOCOLS WILL BE IMPLEMENTED?

A:  Day Camps are still on the order to remain closed. Health and safety are a priority at Camp Gan Israel. We are working closely with the CDC and ACA waiting to hear the outcome of their decisions as well as that of our local government.

 

Q: HOW CAN I REGISTER AND RESERVE A SPOT?

A: We put a hold on registration and will keep you posted as we know more.  Instead, please send an email to  registrar@cgibeachwood with the camper names, grades entering in the fall and the dates of which weeks of camp you are interested in.  That will reserve your spot until we have a clearer answers. If you have already registered, your spot is secured. 



Q: I ALREADY REGISTERED, BUT WILL NOT BE JOINING THIS SUMMER, HOW DO I REQUEST A REFUND?

A: All payments and deposits have already been refunded to each family enrolled. Once we have a clearer picture what the new program will be, camp pricing will be adjusted with new options to register for.

 

Q: WHAT IS ALREADY IN PLACE FOR THE SUMMER? 

A: We are very fortunate to be part of an amazing network of hundreds other CGI Camps around the world and  CKids International . Together, we are creating a fun and engaging Jewish program for Summer 2020. 

 

 

Q: WHAT THEN WILL CAMP LOOK LIKE THIS SUMMER?

A:  With the Stay At Home Order still in place, let us know what do you think it should look like!  

 

Q: I HAVE AN IDEA, ARE YOU TAKING SUGGESTIONS? 

A: Always! Many parents have already shared fantastic ideas on how we can plan for and implement a safe, healthy and exciting Jewish Summer for our children.  We'd love to hear from you too.  Please call and share your creative ideas.  Let us know what you would like your children to gain this summer.  The camp number is 216 282 2267 or try Rivky at home 216 378 9073.

 

Q: WHAT ARE SOME IDEAS ALREADY MENTIONED?

A: 
1.  Engaging Virtual Camp option via our great 
CKids International  team (Already in the works)

2.  Blanket Camp where families can come out for an hour of entertainment and socializing a few times per week.

3.  Weekly Shabbos Box - Child Friendly games, activities, stories and songs relate to the weekly parsha for your family to enjoy together.

 

4.  Torah Trivia Tournament - families can prepare and join a virtual Torah Trivia Championship.
